Management Software Is Enhanced
Label Traxx 5.1 is the newest version of the print business management software for flexographic narrow web label printers and converters. Among the new features: Packaging waste is tracked in accordance with EU regulations regarding transit packaging; customer relationship management tools are enhanced; and a revised Stock Products module produces more accurate costing.

Print ID, Bar Codes With Many Features
The H-400/H-600 Series thermal transfer product ID and bar code label printers are available in 203 or 399 dpi. They have a durable all-metal construction with a cast aluminum center wall for added strength. Large media window allows easy viewing and monitoring. Standard features include a high-speed USB 2.0 interface for fast data transfer and a real-time clock for time and date stamping of labels. Standard stripper sensor can be used for either strip-and-peel or tear-off applications.

Print Waterproof Labels, Stickers
The Label Maker printer produces waterproof labels and stickers for industries including gourmet foods, wine and water bottles, personal care, natural products, and more. Utilizes high-resolution inkjet technology to print full-color product labels, which can include full-color photos, illustrations, graphics, text, and bar codes. Features 4,800-dpi printing.

Variable Data Module Is Offered
Variable data printing software module will allow all HP Indigo industrial presses to take full advantage of company’s variable data printing. Module is part of company’s Software Suite 7 and is available as an Adobe Illustrator plug-in within DeskPack or as an extension of PackEdge and Plato. This was developed to fulfill specific requirements of label and packaging markets.

Manage Plate Production
Concept 860WP is for the production of water-based letterpress and flexo UV plates. Multifunction unit can manage all production phases of plate production, including exposure, washing, drying, and post-exposure. Can process both metal and PVC-based plates to 66 x 86 cm.

Automation on Flexo Press
The Athena UV flexo press with gearless configuration is offered in widths of 530, 630, and 730 mm. Prints and converts from thin film to heavy laminated board. Digital control supports operator with automatic adjustments, including web temperature, register, tension, print pressure, UV, and drying adjustments. Open structure allows multiple choices of web path and a full range of accessories.

Pro System Prints And Converts
Digital label turnkey system features inkjet printing platform from Epson, the Stylus Pro 4800, which incorporates print resolutions to 2,880 x 1,440 and eight-color ink technology. Converting side of the system offers lamination, die-cutting, waste removal, slitting to individual rolls, and rewinding. All are done in one production pass with cutting dies, setups, or waste.
