SARASOTA, FL

Coast Controls reports owner Douglas G. Fife passed away from cancer this past June at the age of 80. Doug began his career working for Fife Corp., a company founded as a garage operation in 1939 by his father Irwin, and eventually Doug became president and CEO. After leaving Fife Corp., he and his brother William established Coast Controls, a manufacturer of all-air web guiding equipment.
